Friday’s Featured Artist

If you like cute little things that make you go SQEEEEEE then you’ll love the itsy-bitsy miniatures from MineToMe. Check out the interview below to learn more about this cute shop, and the delightful artist who operates it, Phanie.

Miniature Autumn Fall Ornament - $16

Can you sum yourself up in 3 sentences? Give it a go!
A Christian, a wife, a mother. I love what I do and I hope it shows. My favorite color is purple. :P

Tell us about what you sell:
I create tiny polymer clay sculptures. I started out selling miniature scenes in glass bottles but I found another Etsian who does wood turning- I was inspired when I saw her disks. Now I create the tiny instead of micro :P

Miniature Wishing Well - $24

What is your favorite thing about creating?
I love seeing what my creations become. Most of the time I’ll have an idea of what I want to do but, when I start working, my pieces become something completely different.

Where do you find your inspiration?
I work best in the quiet morning hours or in the wee sma’s of the night. Inspiration comes easiest then.

School Teacher Necklace - $20

Do you have any selling tips or tricks for other online sellers?
READ EVERTHING. The forums, and Etsy’s blog, are filled with excellent information. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or request a mentor; we’ve all had to start somewhere. Alternatively, I have collected great advice and I keep them on my blog, phaniesays.blogspot.com

Where can we find you outside of Etsy?
Facebook
Blog

Do you have a coupon code for us?
Please us the coupon code ETSYBLOG for free shipping (international orders welcome) until March 31th.
