Treasury Tuesday

Yup, a new tradition. I just get put in so many fabulous treasuries throughout the week that I figured there ought to be a place front and center I can show them to the world. So every Tuesday my absolute FAVORITE treasuries will be showcased on my blog. Orancha you glad I’ve started this? :-)

I’m still fuzzy on the process and purpose of treasuries…
You join a team, people on the team look at fabu stuff on Etsy with a theme and make a set. You look at each other’s sets. You hope that a set you put together gets featured on Etsy’s main page?
    Am I missing something?

I think it can be a method of creating a piece of art in itself… a treasury is a picture made up of other pictures, in a way.

Sometimes the goal is to get on the front page, and there are teams that focus on that, sometimes the goal is to get to page 1 of the treasury pages (where you go when you click “see more” from the homepage), and sometimes the goal is to just have fun with it (my favorite) and if either of the other two things happen they are simply benefits.

I do have to say though the (3) times I have been on the front page were incredible moment so of some intense exposure. ;-)

The second one is probably my favorite. So soft and pretty, it looks like a daydream…
