I read a great analogy on Spring the other day. “Spring is like a stripper. It shows you just a little bit of sun so you’ll beg for more, and then hides it away a moment later.”
So TRUE, amiright?! Spring is JUST starting to finally peek out in my local area, and MY goodness it is certainly welcomed with open arms. However, the fickleness of spring can cause some dressing complications. For part of the day it’s too cold for spring dresses and open toed wedges, but in the middle of the day or afternoon it’s warm enough to flaunt a little bit more skin.
Simple solutions:
Blazers and shrugs. Not only are they an easy layer to take on and off if your are outdoors and dealign with temperature fluctuations, but they also add a load of professionalism to any outfit. Replace your dark brown versions that you bought for fall for bright white and light green for spring.

Pantyhose and leggings.
Go ahead and wear those open-toed shoes, just wear some nylons underneath to keep your feet warm. Be on the lookout for rain however! If there is the slightest chance, go with closed toed wedges or flats accompanied my footless leggings instead.
Hats.
Hats aren’t just for winter wear. Dock a fun newsboy cap in a bright seasonal tone to keep your head warm during later evenings out.

Be prepared for unexpected rain.
If you’re going to be outdoor and there is even a slight chance there might be a downpour, be weary of thing white fabrics and other such situations that could end badly. There is also that one handy-dandy invention: the umbrella. It works wonders on saving hairdos everywhere!
