This month’s Etsy BeadWeavers team challenge serves as a romantic preview for the upcoming season of winter. It highlights the misty winter mornings, as the dawn finally breaks through the long, dark nights. That foggy, crystallized haze that covers the earth just before the bright sun peaks its way out and reflects off of the scraps of snow.
Some absolutely inspired entires resulted from this theme, as always. You can view them all and vote for your favorite by heading over to the team blog. Just glancing over the thumbnail preview is enough to make your jaw drop…
For my entry I made a pair of earrings using mostly glass crystal beads. I wanted to capture that reflective twinkle of the sunlight just hitting the frost covered ground. Dancing at the ends of the coral fringes are bits of purple, sea green. and dark pewter beads. I also felt that by adding small, glass white pearl beads, I implied the pure white bits of snow that are soon to be seen everywhere.

Thanks twisted! I appreciate it! ♥
All the best of luck! IMHO, yours is the most wearable at any given occasion – and that’s what is most important! XO!
Awww, thank you so much Jeannie!
